19 August 2003 The other day my cousins and I went to see S.W.A.T in the movie theaters. It was really good and I would totally suggest that you get your butt up and go see it.!! For the reason alone that this movie has an all-star cast with Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, Oilver Martinez, Michelle Roderiguz, and LL Cool J. 22 August 2003 i am now down to 8 more days until i go back to London for school. i am so excited about it. keep in mind that it has also been 3 months since i have seen my boyfriend ( and you can't even begin to imagine what that is like). right now he should be in Turkey. he told me that he was leaving yesterday and is coming back next wednesday. i hope he has a great time. i told him to bring me back a tukish tukey but he didn't buy it. by the way what sound does the turkey make? if i am correct it is gobble gobble (my boyfriend and i disagree about it all the time. maybe they make the turkeys differently in Kenya?)..moving right along. i am so looking forward to leaving flordia and going to new york. i had enough here (and some of the people here too)...plus when i get to new york i am suppose to meet up with my sister Barbara and who knows when is the last time i saw her or any of my other sisters. so i will go and visit friends and family that i have missed when i am in new york...then sept 1 i am off to london..yeah!!!! i will not come back until the 6th of jan 2004. that is a long time away.. but i am looking forward to it. well that is all for now because it is after 1 in the morning and i have plans tomorrow... talk to you soon 30 AUGUST 2003 sorry about the delay folks but i was having such a hard time acessing my website. so here is a recap of my summer
this was defintely my summer to "mature" and i have noticed that i have evolved in several ways. when ever i am in Florida for summer vaction/winter break, i always feel so lonely. i guess alot has to do with the fact that when i go home that i do not go out much. plus it finally dawned on me that even though i am away everyone's life does not stop if i go to college. but this summer i realized that i have great friends.
michelle is my one of my closest and oldest friends, but since she started working at the art gallery, i started to feel some distant between us because she is always busy with work related stuff. even though we don't spend as much time as we would like to, i know that every tuesday was michelle day and i would spend time with her at her art gallery. now that i am taking an interest in photography, she let me use her as my first model and we got some great picture out of it. (see her pictures on the photo page)
then there is chelsea. she and i meet in our first year of college. she is one of the very best freinds that i have here in the FW. this girl has got some true musical talent. she would be really great as the next Jewel (the old Jewel, not this new one that came with her new album).Chels has been everything to me and not seeing her or hanging out with her for the last three months was really hard. i am really excited because i get to see her next week and even though she is not living in chester house anymore it's okay because she is not going too far. plus we are going to Greece together. (details about that later)
i also have two Jennifers in my life who are opposite of each other but have simliar places in my life. there's jen forsyth. she transfered to Fordham University in NYC. even though i did not know her for very long she is a really great insipiartion for me to have. i am a communications major, and Jen is going places in the communications world. this september she has an intership working at ABC News with Diane Swayer and Barbara Walters. Good for her i say! she has plans of returning to london in late decemeber so i will get to see her agian.
my other jen is jen thomas. i swear she was sent to me from God above because i consider my guardian angel. she ahs help me restore my faith in God and people. jen has taught me that every situation is not as bad as it seems, especially if you ask for help.it saddens me to not know when i will see her agian. i send her emails and letters but it is not the same. no matter what she still holds a place in my heart and prayers
laura is my cool and out there friend. now that i think about it laura is my oldest friend and not michelle. she starts college this august & i can't beileve that she is all grown up and in love, too. the thing that i love most about our friendship is that we have a very non-judgemental & very accepting of what one another does or does not do. it also helps that we ahve alot of history together too!

just about everyone that i have come to know in my life has made an impression (like Mira, Lindsay, Karelin, and Sophie). i am thankful to Friends World for exposing me to new and different people and cultures.
i love all you guys! 5 September 2003 Last night we wnet out to central London and have a great time! who says that you need to drink to have a good time? since i have been back in Chester House i have meet alot of new people because everyone that i have know from the last time i was here is gone. we got home a little past two in the morning. yesterday was also Eugene's second birthday (yes he ahs two birthdays but it a long story). he is now 23 years old. by the way mom i found the Benny Hill tapes that he was going to send you and i will send them to you next week.
so next week everyone comes, like Chelsea. (Chels John Mayer will be here the 17 of Sept in Central London. wanna go?)
tonight a bunch of us are going out to eat dinner. that should be fun. we leave in about an hour or so.
you know when i was in NY i never did get in contact with my sister; even now i still can not get ahold of her.
there really is much going on but there will be once school starts!!
6 Sept 2003 i finally finish up packing my room and i saw alot of stuff (mainly clothes) that i do not use or wear anymore, so sometime next week i am going to donate them to one the charity shops up the road.
a friend of mine is leaving Chester House next week and is selling me his stereo system at a cheap cheap price. finally i will have real speakers in my room and not the ones in my laptop. there is nothing wrong wiith the speakers that i have now it's just that is it not loud enough to be heard throughout my room.
by the way i found the charger to my phone, so in case any one wants to call me you can now.
that is all tonight...
wait there is one more thing....
last night there was this japanese guy here in CH that wanted to fight everybody because he was so wasted!!! they finally had to kick him out. then earlier today he came back (sober of course) and when we asked him what happened to him last night he told us that he didn't even want to think about last night.
